I am astonished by the knives Bill Howard and GEC have been able to create. No other manufacturer can come even remotely close. Make no mistake about it, we are fortunate to be collecting during this golden period of Great Eastern Cutlery. I do not believe we will see the likes of this again. Nothing lasts forever. Get them while you can! GEC collecting is ...!

Those last three lines sound like Kenny Hill don’t they?! Speaking of Kenny, the GEC Facebook group headed by Darren Orrell, @waverave, raised several thousand dollars for Kenny’s family. Well done Darren!

cbr1000 cbr1000 , thanks for the compliment. Yes that is a Lone Star 35 built by GEC for Percy Richardson. I hope Percy can continue in some form or fashion. He uses steel and wood from old battleships and donates a portion of the profits to historical museums. The ship steel in this knife blade was forged into damascus by Chad Nichols.

WOW! That dead skunk came out great! Glad you were able to get your hands on one. The cocobolo they used on the 15s is some of the finest ive seen, and your example is no different. Nice pickups you got there.

Boy these down the hall photos don't reveal much these days.

Okay, you got me thinking about this down the hall picture a bit more. This one is tricky because it looks to point out the obvious, but there's a couple extra not so obvious things in the picture. There's a mirror there.. and an opposite sillouette of the green guy behind the mirror... If you look at the giant 38 in a mirror it's 83. Maybe a run of 83's is coming?

I had the same thought about the mirror and 38... but can’t remember if someone (jiki?) predicted already a run of 83s? So I figured that idea was placed in my head and not actually deduced by me! :D
