I had the exact same thought.I haven't been the biggest fan of the badge shield on all the recent releases, but I have to say it is about perfect for this knife.

Since there were already some 35 patterns run late last year I doubt we will see them again in the near future. I would love to see them released again though.

If you go to the GEC website you will see a down the hall pic in the what's happening link. I've not been into these that long but in the past they would post a pic as a hint to future production patterns. Which of course drives everyone out of their minds. Lately the last couple pics are simply showing what's to be soon heading out the door to the rat race. Which also drives everyone out of their minds. Fun though, and GEC knows it. Lol.Dumb question. these days you’re probably going to want to keep doing your homework, too, because all the runs are getting bought up as fast as they can be announced.
If they would have actually etched it like this it would have been way coolI was going to say it looks a lot like this which I guess makes it a shield shield.
