  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets talk GEC!

86's for sure, but what else..?

We are way overdue for 77's. C'mon single clip 77's!
That would be great, but I think it would be surprising for them to do single clip 77's super close to single clip 86's which seem to be coming up very soon.

Charlie waynorth waynorth , I hope you are feeling well. How is your recovery progressing?

It sure would be great if GEC did either a Sawcut Red or Copperhead version of the 86 Barlow in addition to the Hemlock Forum knife. Then everyone would be happy. Well, make that almost everyone, because there is never a moment in time when ALL of us Knife Knuts are happy.

Maybe the auto spork with make it on the next schedule update. GEC has made autos and forks before, and rugs, and the illuminator so... just maybe

I would guess they just mid-numbered the 15s on the listing. The rest of the releases are in chronological order if my memory serves.

I think that was a mistake. It should say #15 instead of #77. They ran the #15 Barlows pictured at the bottom this year. 77 Barlows were an sfo in the Northfield Cutlery line.
ah yeah I see that now. Man, I also know GEC can be kinda sneaky with hints, so I had some hope, what a mistake to make! I know the 77 barlows were NF, that's what I was so pumped about the potential for a Tidioute barlow on 77!

Looks like a run of H10 hunters are coming out next.
They seem to put out the hunters pretty regularly, and it seems like there's not as big of a following.
I wonder if this is one of those products that they can make relatively easily and inexpensively to pad their earnings a little?
I imagine they don't make near as much per knife per hour building when producing something like the #38 whittler patterns.
