Lets talk GEC!

Question on the 47P harvester GEC. Was 2016 it's only release and is there any chance we'll ever see this pattern released again?
Not sure honestly. I really was hoping for 35 calf pen run again however the latest 35’s didn’t happen. Also the last run of 47’s didn’t happen for farm and field either but I hope to see both in the future.

Yeah I noticed that too about the 47's. Those pruner GEC's just look awesome. I know case and Opinel has pruner models, but I'm holding out for a GEC...for now.

I am posting red knives, because it seems like the Porch is on fire. For months now, there have been fewer and fewer posts actually discussing knives. There is way too much inane banter and silliness. Almost as bad is the far too common long chain multi-quoting with trivial comments like “nice knife buddy,” or “great pairing.” That is what the like button is for. There is no need to comment on everything. If we do not get back to the knives, serious people will continue to drift away, and the content quality will decline even more.

I have learned a tremendous amount about knives here, and I will always appreciate that. I have also made some great friendships. There is enough drama in the real world. We do not need it here. I would rather see a person make a handful of meaningful knife related posts rather than tens of thousands of insipid ones. Let's just stick to the knives. And remember, if there is no photo it didn’t happen! Photographs add so much to posts. If your posts do not contain either photos of knives or information about knives, please think twice.
