Lets talk GEC!

To answer my own question, it looks like there is a run of 25s (EO with spear and sheepsfoot) and 73s (single blade) coming up.

I got an early reserve for a bone sheepsfoot 25. Always loved the lines of that combo.

Eh what what??? A new run of 25s? Where did you hear such joyous news?

Ez open. Has a cut out to help pinch the blade with your thumb and forefinger. Really handy if your have weak finger nails.

Oh and by the way... Could anyone tell me if the 38 Chapmans are an SFO?

And if not, how come the Northfield's aren't being put to regular distributors like the Tidioutes are?

38 Chapman Tidioite not sfo, Northfield sort of. I'll let a paying distributor explain that comment.

They haven't said, but generally on a 3" knife you don't have the real estate to have and end cap compete with an EO notch. The Chapman NF is an SFO for Charlie and a friend of his.

Of course, it's Lyles baby isn't it. Thanks guys. :)

I just want to share my opinion on the discussion about second hand prices for some GEC knives.

It amazes me that someone is willing to buy a knife for 2-4 times what it originally cost. I don't like it when I see people adjust the price up like that, it doesn't really fit well with how generous and nice people are in the traditional forum. But when someone is desperate enough to pay those crazy prices, who are we to say it's wrong?

I don't mind paying extra for it, but sometimes I ask them, is that in yen? That being said, The market will sort itself out, so there is no need to worry.

...they did a magic job on the 2010 ones.

I certainly like the idea of a 25 Spear in linen micarta! If only they'd do a Wharncliffe single Barehead, sigh...

Promising re-run of 73s including liner-lock versions.
