Lets talk GEC!

Can anyone tell me more about the next run of #73's that are coming out.
1. What scale options will there be?
2. Is there a pre order? If so, where?
3. When is the next run scheduled to be completed?

Thanks :)
Ryan

Kind of OT, but Titusville had a bad fire yesterday that they say, basically, gutted the town square. Hopefully no one from GEC was affected and prayers sent to anyone suffering a loss from the fire. Wife said 28 fire departments responded. :(She's originally from Franklin, btw, so I get updates on what goes on in the area.

Oh, jeez! Yes, hope all our enablers at GEC and Queen are alright..... :/

They haven't said, but generally on a 3" knife you don't have the real estate to have and end cap compete with an EO notch.

...they did a magic job on the 2010 ones.

GEC is at 701 East Spring Street and the fire was on West Spring Street, nearly a mile away, it appears.

Queen Cutlery is on Chestnut Street, across town. ;):)

The news article said no injuries.

Thats great news, thanks Primble. ...well not great news, but....

...och you know what I mean.

That's really a shame. Although I'm sure a bar might be slightly easier, it is extremely difficult to establish a successful business in these small post industrial towns (though Titusville still has a relatively good amount of industry). I hope everything goes as well as possible.

The Blue Canoe was a lot more than a bar. They make their own line of Craft Beer on the premises and served Gourmet Quality meals. The local residents and vistors to Titusville will miss it greatly. And for knife content, the first of the #38 Grinling Whittlers will be shipping from the Factory today. Old Green Jigged Bone and Kryptonite Acrylic, maybe Ebony. No damage to the Post Office.

Oh wow, I didn't know it was that. I hadn't been there but I had planned to go after turning 21. That's a real shame.

The whittlers are interesting little knives, but just not my cup of tea. I'm hoping there are some GEC/440c knives in this run of #25s.

That would be awesome! I'm trying to put my purchases on hold for a few months but I would jump at the chance for one of those.
I'm in the same boat, but considering the span between this run and the most recent previous run, I think these will go fast.

Quick Question-I recently was fortunate enough to obtain the knife pictured below from Brett. It is the Northfield, Copperhead, Abilene Stock Knife. It arrived today, and I noticed the spacer between the springs is "white" rather than brass. What type is it Steel or NS?
Thanks
Josh
