Lets talk GEC!

I do like them, and have always been curious of the pattern, but I won't be going crazy trying to aquire the 36. Doesn't look like something I would ever carry. Sure are nice to look at tho, and have alot of real-estate for pretty covers

I do not care for the elephant shield - hopefully the other versions of the 36 have more traditional shields.
I don't really mind the shield, but I don't really care for the etch. Interesting version of the pattern, single blade-single bolster, and a sheepsfoot at that. Oh well, I guess that should reduce weight and eliminate the notorious lazy secondary blade.

In the pictures of the ebonies that are done, the one standing on the back edge looks like it has a separate liner next to the blade spread apart? Anyone else notice that?

I looked through the pics and can’t see what your referring to.

Under coming soon, third row from the bottom, last pic where the knives are standing up.

I think you might just be seeing the reflection of the liner on the blade.

Are you guys sure that this is a bull? It kind of looks like a heifer--something a farmer or a livestock man would own. And it is wearing some sort of blanket or cape; perhaps leather?

Stacked leather stockman, y'all!

I guess any stockman could coincide with the picture. Not sure about the stacked leather though.:D I would welcome a 98 with the right blades though.

I'm calling bull on another 71 Bullnose. They just did one a short time ago. It's been a long time since we've seen a 3 blade stockman. It's overdue so bring it on.

To be fair, they used to do #71’s like once a year, but who knows.

Change of subject for a minute here; The #81 pattern is great! Nice larger knife, easy to work with!!
In 2013, Stag was still getting a shield; by 2017 the shields were gone!! Not bad stag back then!!81 comps 1.jpg

Do we have a 98 texas cattle knife on the way?

Hopefully a cattle knife. But probably a filler run of Bull Busters before the bayou.
If only I drank tea, I could send you prognosticators the tea leaves and you could map out the rest of my life for me!! 🤓

This is the correct guess. 😁

I thought I was out on the 36s, but the configuration is a certified knockout. See y'all at Fight Club.

First rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club the second rule of Fight Club ....
