Didn't forget it, just don't believe that describes anyone at GEC. Take a trip to Titusville and meet some of them sometime. You forgot the part where the young celebrity forgets all the "little people" that helped her get to where she is today... Draw whatever parallels you want.![]()
Probably not as far as you think.wow, quite a leap![]()
I was quite obviously just kidding around...Didn't forget it, just don't believe that describes anyone at GEC. Take a trip to Titusville and meet some of them sometime.
I was quite obviously just kidding around...
who’s excited about the upcoming #35 4-blade Scout knife
Note to self... Don't joke around about GEC knives, it's serious business and people are very emotionally invested... Got it.Dang it, John, you know that isn’t allowed here!
Oh man, that's some disturbing news.Mine had pretty bad side to side play, major gaps, and the etch wasn’t that good.
Well, if you collect only to look and admire, and not to touch and, err... operate with, then yes.If you’re purely a collector, I don’t think any of the aforementioned ‘issues’ matter if they are generally not noticeable.
Not really. I see what you mean here, but look, to be called of a good quality a traditional pocket knife should have no gaps, no blade play, smooth corners, sharp blade, and overall built precisely. Well, every knife, not only traditional and not necessarily a folding one. Isn't that right?Quality is a tough thing to comment on when the manufacturer doesn't divulge their standards....

Of course I knew you were joking! I was too. LoLI was quite obviously just kidding around...
Is that true????Dang it, John, you know that isn’t allowed here!
Anyways, who’s excited about the upcoming #35 4-blade Scout knife with the duck’s ass shield?

People can both "like" GEC and "vent" about GEC. That doesn't make people "haters", I assume people are showing their passion.GEC is like the 1970’s era Yankees or Tom Brady’s Patriots; lots of animosity is directed towards a winning dynasty. The dislikers believe the likers are humorless and overly sensitive. However, the vocal dislikers are the ones who display a curious degree of emotion. I never understood why people who dislike a product, a person, or a sports team, for whatever reason, will often spend so much of their energy venting. When I don’t like someone or something, I try to go in a different direction rather than letting it get under my skin. Just like the Yankees and Patriots, GEC will one day lose its supremacy. In the meantime, can’t we just enjoy this incredible ride? After all, no one is forced to buy their knives or read this thread.
