Is anyone a fan of these harvesters? The viper is one of my favorite patterns, but I'm not sure I can justify the harvester blades. Seems like a huge carry for not much gain. Interesting box opener though. Could be fun for actual fruit picking with the kids.

I do a decent amount of gardening with my cold steel Tanto. I just have trouble imagining using the harvester that hard. No, no, no. The last thing you want to do is use a knife for the purpose it was made.
The other week I took my GEC #65 Fish Keeper out of the house and went fishing. I caught some fish and cleaned them with it. This just goes to show how one sin can lead to another. The knife made an excellent job of it by the way, but I realise that's no mitigation (let alone defence) for my unforgivable behaviour.
Plenty of examples of pruners that have been used hard here. Or Image search vintage pruner. It is what they are built for.I do a decent amount of gardening with my cold steel Tanto. I just have trouble imagining using the harvester that hard.
