Lets talk GEC!

Leg, Canoe, Teardrop/Bullet-end please. AND an auto would be appreciated. Though it's doubtful that they'll ever make them again, autos I mean.

Well, actually, let them do anything they feel they should do, just wish they announced things like they used to. I remember three patterns in the schedule, that was a space for pondering and planning.

Well, it’s been 10 years since these came out.

I stand corrected. Gotta remember to use my "old lady reading glasses" when reading on a little phone screen.
I hear you, been using cheaters since I was forty. Last week I went in to have my drivers license renewed and to my chagrin I couldn’t read the chart with my right eye only. Making an appointment with the optometrist next week.🤷

If we’re sharing wish-lists for patterns we’d like to see…

- 78 (single blade would be awesome)
- 48 (of course)
- 66 Moose
- H73 or H23
- Pipe dream… Turn the 59 around and put a lambfooot blade on it. Call it a FAKE LAMBFOOT KNIFE, I’ll still buy it!

A 3 3/4 serpentine would be a nice, just like the 66 calf roper but just a tad larger.

That’s a nice one! I once gave away a Calf Roper because while I had it, I wouldn’t carry anything else. It’s that good.

Go a little larger than that, Ralph, and you get to the 82 Dixie Stockman. They are 4 1/8 closed, so yes, I know it’s larger than you’re saying (and that it makes a difference).

They are both excellent and complementary, for me, the 66 kicks the 82 (annd so much else) out of pocket a lot of the time.

Oh man, the struggle is real. My wife is 10 years older than me and hasn’t hit the ”oh crap, I need reading glasses” phase yet. I will be so excited when it hits for her, b/c she has been brutal in making fun of me at dark restaurants and bars.

I regret getting rid of my purple sage calf roper, it’s been a while time to try another one. An 88 pattern in 3 3/4” would be nice with same blades as the calf ropers.
