I am not a fan of Acrylics. They can be very pretty to look at but it's not a cover material that ages well with use, in my opinion, and it gets slippery/slimy in a quick hurry.


That aside, this current run of 48s looks very nice - I do like the cover choices. I think the 48 frame remains one of my favorites from GEC; it is long, lean, and has a lot of blade for the real estate. It helps that it's darned comfy in hand as well. I don't have many of them but they remain staples in my collection.
