The remainder of the knives I picked up at the rendezvous. That 29 and 39 giraffe really stand out,and why not get a unique carver knife while at it.

You're right. For all the negative comments I see about spey blades on stockman, folks go gaga for a single spey on a jack. I'm the complete opposite.Plus, single blade spey? Who lost what bet?
I'll elaborate. The spey blade, tolerated on the trapper and obligatory on a stockman, almost always improves a knife by its absence. Who wants just a spey??
That Giraffe Bone.... Long way above everything elseWould love to see more of it used, really special

It appears so, 2019 tang stamp.Wow -- fantastic pick-ups!!!
That red stag 29 is really something -- just beautiful! Was it stashed away in the vault somewhere?
?given the runs coming, this seemed like a bit of a cop out to me for a rendezvous knife. giraffe bone or not. Of course its Bill's choice and he didnt ask me.
The only rules I am aware of are that it's a secret, it's a special cover, and it's only available at the rendezvous. Everything else is open to Bill. I mean "historically " before last year there was only one patterned offered. Regardless why is it a cop out if it's a current run?historically the rendezvous knife is not the pattern thats currently running. its usually something several runs prior. Arent the northfields 39s about to start?

I had a couple conversations with folks that have a rendezvous knife collection that feel conflict with the 2 knife offering the past two years because it makes a complete set more difficult to complete. I thought that was an interesting point of view. My own interests were helped because it made more knives available.theyre coming already, dont take it the wrong way, im not saying it as a bad thing. this is in no way a bad thing to me. well have to see what happens next year
