Lets talk GEC!

GEC makes a knife with heavier pull.
People: Boo, it's a nail breaker!
GEC makes a knife with lighter pull.
People: Boo, it comes in contact with the spring when closed too easy!
GEC makes a bigger knife.
People: Boo, chunky!
GEC makes a small knife.
People: Boo, so tiny!
...

GEC bends over backwards thrice and makes a most perfect pocket knife of all time in the universe.
People: Boo, it's too perfect, I can't find what to complain about!!!

And I mean myself here too. ;)

And if you don't complain the exact way that I do your a GEC apologist.

More like: "Boo, they all sold out in 10 seconds, I couldn't snag one!"
This is exactly why no one buys GEC knives anymore...........😂
Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

I have never really had use for a small knife in the past,I do remember having a small pen knife in the bunkhouse for cleaning grit under nails but that's it,and I have carried a peanut recently but I can see myself getting a 22 mag for pattern sake.

#22 is a sweet, tiny knife. I'm a little disappointed they didn't do a spear-main two-blade version in 2022, just for the "222222" stamp. 😁

Yep, that was a complete missed opportunity, and a waste of a great tang stamp number.

Good looking white bone #22. The patio table helps give some scale to how small these are. It’s hard to tell from some pics how small they are (although the size of the pins does give it away a bit).

The wharncliffe looks odd on this pattern, just my personal opinion of course. I’m liking the sawcut with the clip, and I’m happy there are no end caps.

Agree about wharncliffe. As for the end caps, I couldn't imagine a gunstock pattern without them before. Mostly because handle's end is rectangular, i.e. has sharp corners, which seems to be a number one spot for cracks and chip offs if the knife is extensively used.

Just when I thought it was safe to put the tiny 22 out of my mind....it's offered as Barehead 😍 Always better. Wharncliffe no, but Clip with that new synthetic sounds very credible. Obtaining one at an obtanium price may well be a different matter.....let's see :)
