In 2023 GEC made 250 of the Jigged Natural Linen Micarta and 52 of the Smooth Natural Micarta 56’s. Mine was one of the latter.A'ight
I assumed it was from the jigged natural linen micarta run back in '23 but see now yours is a lighter colour.

I was noodling around and saw these posts I made when this 82 was fresh out of the tube. So I decided to take some current pics to show off the aging of the stag.
Let's meet in the middle, 3¾.I want a 3 1/2 inch version with the same blades.
Looks like I will have one on the way shortly, just paid the invoice this morning. Pretty excited for it! Thanks, LyleI may be ready for a 38 beaver.
Upon closer inspection, the farmer is not wearing shoes. What does it mean?Alright, that is pretty straightforward.

I've never seen that background setting on the "End of the hall" pics, though.
Not a farmer, John Chapman. That would be consistent with the legend.Upon closer inspection, the farmer is not wearing shoes. What does it mean?

Fine StagWhat I like about the Dixie is the interesting blade selection and the fact they ride so low, great in hand use and that neat cut-out. I'm with
BDubbs (that's not blade rubs
) would like a smaller version too, such an attractive pattern.

wlfryjr I'm interested by the Apples&Oranges Acrylic Lyle, it's very odd that one thinks of the Farmer's Jack strictly in terms of Bone, Stag, Wood etc but this works really well with the man made materials too
Can't recall but were any made with fancy Cell scales? Probably not, but Butter&Molasses has me in its eternal grip
Thanks, Will

We need to sell feet pics to afford all of the amazing knives GEC is releasing lately?Upon closer inspection, the farmer is not wearing shoes. What does it mean?
Just got my 38. I’ll be honest, the farmer jack is a strange knife.
Aesthetically or practically?
