Lets talk GEC!

The Washington Jack was a Charlie Campagna SFO before his came under the Waynorth brand. The sibling run of Tidioite and Northfield 77 Jacks was called the "Yankee Jack" and they were outstanding knives, very hard to find these days.

I hope it's not another run of 94s.

for me, if they had a clip maybe. i did grab an older 38 from the 21 run as a possible future gift for my brother as he had mentioned about wanting to get into whittling at some point.

Is anyone excited for these 38 half Whittlers?? I am. I managed to snag yellow snow version yesterday.
I’m not really into these half-whittlers as I’m a full-whittler guy, but the yellow snow may be worth it for the button alone.

The yellow linen was a brighter yellow than had hoped - was hoping for closer to Case Delrin color. I’m still super happy with mine. The secondary was a bit lazy but a few flushings improved it greatly. Carried it for several days this week.

Had a lazy secondary on my Sawcut as well it’s gotten better but nowhere as snappy as even the recent 38 farmers

Thanks for the replies on the 38 half whittlers.

I’m sad to hear about the lazy secondaries.

So far I scored a yellow snow and hopefully I made the cut on a reservation for one of JSR’s SFO’s.

The Grinling Whittlers that I once had.....had very good snap on the secondaries both Tidioute in Greenbone and Northfield Chechen Rosewood. Same with the later English Whittler I still have. Yes, that shield does look gappy.
