The Campfire 38 is not a bad knife; single-spring, Wharncliffe main - it's got a lot going for it. This knife has decent snap, and the color and texture generally reminds me of a delrin Schrade Walden, although it is Bone of course!! Nice knife!!

I think it is because they swapped the pen blade to the mark side this time.

I think GEC likes to make little changes so each run is distinct and different from previous runs, even of same pattern and basic config.

TLDR: for collectors!

They did in fact make 58 pieces of a 735109LHL ........or ( LHL = LeftHand Lock ) . I even traded Half/Stop Ron out of with one of my 77 Barlows in 2017 . I still have it and it is still a little different opening it .

Makes it almost the same as a 78. It was one of the differences between the patterns.

neat! its got me thinking back to that thread about how one opens a slipjoint. i guess with the nailnick for the main clip being on the other side, i suppose one could hold in the left hand and open with the right to open in the tip down configuration.
