The Campfire 38 is not a bad knife; single-spring, Wharncliffe main - it's got a lot going for it. This knife has decent snap, and the color and texture generally reminds me of a delrin Schrade Walden, although it is Bone of course!! Nice knife!!38 sawcut 1.jpg
 
I wonder why they changed the nail nick to the mark side on this run.

dang it Bill, im supposed to be saving for my trip! it will be nice to make up the pair tho, even though the 2014 is a bit unique in terms of ebony coloration. and of course end caps!!!!!!

They did in fact make 58 pieces of a 735109LHL ........or ( LHL = LeftHand Lock ) . I even traded Half/Stop Ron out of with one of my 77 Barlows in 2017 . I still have it and it is still a little different opening it .

neat! its got me thinking back to that thread about how one opens a slipjoint. i guess with the nailnick for the main clip being on the other side, i suppose one could hold in the left hand and open with the right to open in the tip down configuration.
