Lets talk GEC!

AFAIK, Northwoods hasn't used the 92 frame yet. I believe the Burnside Jack is the 56 frame..... Could be wrong; I confuse the Northwoods names sometimes. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be good!

Hey, is there a contest to win a free knife here? Guess the knife and win it?

My guess:
92 frame with a 'Bohncliffe' blade, saber ground rustic series in black camel bone.

Hey, I can wish, can't I?!

*edited because I originally put the wrong pattern number.

Probably not related, but this has been posted on KSF site about the IRJ's for awhile:

"All of the Indian River Jacks are currently sold out. We just placed a new order for them that will be filled in 2016. Thank you for your patience.

Northwoods Knives - Indian River Jack"

I seem to remember that originally it said they should hit in the first quarter, which of course has come and gone. Then it was changed to "filled in 2016".

I emailed them sometime back to get an idea about potential handles and they advised that the IRJ would not be made by Queen this time, but it would have the super-steel again (which would preclude GEC, right???). They also weren't sure about handles at that time.

Who knows, but a little mystery in this age of everything being posted online is a good thing! 😀

If you go to the KSF facebook page they put up a pic of Derrick holding what looks like a #92 with a northwoods shield and a warncliffe blade. Handle material looks like more yellow camel bone.

I think that may be the Norfolk or the Norfolk whittler

A proper bigger sized Norfolk please. And more stainless, but that's seemingly unlikely....

Barehead Talons with Spear too.

38 Single-spring, Clip/small Wharncliffe, Rat-tails in all steel and one with stainless/NS liners. Brass bleeds:eek: Actually, any combo of blades on the 38 single spring would be welcome:thumbup: Such a great in hand knife.
