Lets talk GEC!

Here's the pic...

Derrick has alluded to the fact that he is going to start working with a company other than Queen and GEC for some of the Northwoods line, and I wonder if this is the beginning of that.

BRK. There was a photo floating around of a prototype slipjoint made by one of the BRK guys.

Maybe it's Rough Rider... I love matchstrike pulls!

Exciting things ahead! I am hoping we see lots of stainless options come from this new endeavour!

Good point, Mike. The folks at Bark River are steel junkies. This could be interesting.

(Whoops. Didn't see Derrick's post)

Did you pull the trigger on a Lanny's Clip, Derrick? I'd love to see a Lanny's Clip from Northwoods. The Zulu was so cool!

While a Northwoods/GEC Lanny's Clip in giraffe bone would be beyond amazing I'm not entirely sure they are allowed to use a custom design from Tony Bose. I think that's reserved for custom makers and Case only, with Tony's permission. I could be wrong...someone with more knowledge please feel free to chime in.

But I don't recall seeing any clip point Northwoods in a long time (since the very limited Madison Barlow?), so here's hoping for some kind of a clip point Northwoods.

Dave Shirley started Northwoods and was committed to branding and selling knives that were 100% USA made. Derrick stated here that he committed to continue that USA-made tradition when he purchased the brand from Dave.

With the upcoming boys knife/beer scouts I wonder if another run of Broadway Jacks could be squeezed in?

I just got a notification that Charlie's #35 SFO will ship early this week. Looks like I'll go from no equal end jacks to two by the end of the week!
