It's an acrylic. It has a very subtle grain, almost like ivory or "french ivory". I believe they had trouble with it coming out brittle and cracking. I picked up this one on a discount because of a small cosmetic flaw. The only thing I could find wrong when I looked it over were a few tiny chips near the bolster.So is the unicorn ivory actually acrylic or do they use some kind of white bone?

A whole mess of doves were sacrificed, but I don't know if they were virgins or not.So are the unicorns sustainably harvested? Are any virgins killed or injured during the process?![]()


Man, now I want another unicorn ivory to go with my WLST. I hope these 62s aren't coming out until late next spring. I've got to get through the holidays and tax season...
