I have kind of been away from traditional knives for a while but have recently been trying to find a single blade Barlow style knife to carry. I like the pattern 15 but they seem to be difficult to find. I noticed today that the 15 boys knife with bail and chain is available. I have no interest in the bail and chain and don’t care about the knife value. Does anybody know of the bail can be easily removed? I thought about one in green micarta if the bail and be taken off. Thanks
