Thanks! I'll do that. It all happened so fast I had to choose one based on the thumbnail pic, and didn't even get to look at the knife photo until my payment went through and I got confirmation.
 
The mammoth and giraffe were a lot more expensive than the micarta versions. I did peruse the leftovers. Saw a few really nice options there!

The individual covers are always the toughest to grab, even if you're quick. You have a lot of good karma banked so who knows? :)

There was some really nice looking mammoth in that bunch. Interesting to note - they had quite a few more in Giraffe Bone than the Mammoth.
 
I was able to land a Saw Cut Heritage, was interested in the mammoth for this one and wanted to see the stragglers, but, decided way before 4 that I would just go for the Red saw cut without delay to avoid a miss.
 
Managed to snag a sawcut and a FMW! I didn’t even look at the stragglers section. Anyone remember what all was offered in there?

Me too on all that, had those 3 pages open in the phone but missed all the others, the mammoth I always go for half heartedly, just because of the price. Can’t wait till the sawcut gets here.
 
After having the site crash on me while checking out on the last release I got lucky this time and scored the White Micarta Jack. Thought the Micarta scales might go more slowly. As soon as I finished checking out on it I tried to go for the others but they were gone. This is only the second time I’ve tried to buy a Northwoods new release, does this happen for all of them?
 
Some really fantastic Mammoth and Giraffe. Wow. I shoulda swung by the giraffes but I was all in on a Mammoth cover.

Again huge congrats to those that landed what they wanted. Glad to see some 1st time Northwoods getting in our hands! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
eh well I missed out ton today's drop. I'm inconsolable. Don't talk to me. *cries*.

But seriously, the KSF experience is stressful. I load the page for 10 mins until the knives pop up. I select a specific one. I put in my name, address, phone. card data. click buy. Then i'm told that one I have selected is gone.

It makes me VERY appreciative of stubhub, ticketmaster, AMC and quite a few other websites who let you pick what you want, then "hold" it for you for a few minutes while you checkout. That way you don't get cartjacked.

KSF Cartjacking is ... exhausting, frustrating as a collector and just... puts a bad taste in my mouth.
