Let's talk Northwoods

I really like the lines of this knife, it just looks very cool to me. I also like the fact that they were put together in house. Not sure what I'm going to do with it specifically but with the full tang they give off a very tough vibe, that's part of the reason I went with micarta (plus it's a bit easier to grab 😉). I'm sure I will find a good use for it.

I have been on the fence about getting the Boker version of this knife for awhile. I like the Northwoods aesthetic on this model, as well as the sheath so I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on one.

If you are referring to the Boker PryMini I see what you mean. Overall length and blade length are virtually identical, and the basic design is very similar. I have the PryMini 1674 and I do like the knife. A bit fancy for edc though.
I wasn't sure about the Fall Creek but I do like the looks of it, and the pocket sheath is a plus. I think it'll get carried a lot.

Yup, that's the one. I think yours is what put it on my radar.

I've been carrying small fixed blades in a pocket sheath for EDC for a long time and they are very cool. I find they really excel at anything you use a small folder for and are really nice for cutting apples and the like because there is no pivot to get gunk in. I picked up a few this run. Felt like Neo in the matrix with how long it took. I've spoken with Jay about these and the process is very cool. The shields look better than on any of the folders.

This looks a lot like the ESEE Pinch

I think a nice medium brown latigo leather lanyard is in order for mine. Just to decide on how it should be tied!
Diamond knot.
