In the past, handle materials were often provided by KSF, so that alone doesn't guarantee GEC made these. I think the shield on the handle is a better indication, I've never seen Bark River do that, plus the grind does not look convex like BRK does. But it could be another maker.

What does one use a tiny fixed blade for? These look rad, but I'm just curious if anyone finds a small fixed blade well suited for specific tasks, or is it more of a novelty/preference over carrying a folder?

I find a small fixed blade in sheath clipped in the pocket very useful. However with this knife, I find wide warncliff blades not very useful for EDC and at 2” blade a little short.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how fast these went but I am. Guess the Northwoods magic works on fixed blades as well as folders. I grabbed a green micarta as I really like small fixies and the price was reasonable.

Ye Ha my first Northwoods.

I got an ironwood I didn't stop to think I scrolled down quickly,randomly clicked on one and went to pay.

Then got mixed up not clicking the right boxes but just made it.

you have no time to think or choose which you like best mine looks quite dark.

All gone in like 5 or 6 minutes! I got lucky twice. I had a work meeting that I was sure that was going to go long, but it ended 5 minutes before the drop! I was able to snag a mammoth ivory one! I lost the first two or three out of my cart, but got the third (or fourth) one. I tried for an ironwood afterwards, but had 3 or 4 bought out of my cart. So ended up with "just" the ivory.

I need to figure out how to get the images again.

[Edit:] Adding pics. There were some really sweet ones with a little more character, but I am nothing but pleased with this one. Especially after striking out in the last drop.....
