I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how fast these went but I am. Guess the Northwoods magic works on fixed blades as well as folders. I grabbed a green micarta as I really like small fixies and the price was reasonable.

Same, picked a micarta too, works great with these kinds of smaller blade.

I really like the grain on this one. I think I actually selected this one towards the end, but it showed zero inventory when in my cart. Of course it was all a blur with all of the knives flying into and out of my cart.

After taking my time and scoring a sweet straggler last week I didn’t really feel the need to go after such a small fixed blade, don’t really know how I will use it yet.

I told myself I’ll take my sweet time again this time around and try to score this specific giraffe bone that was used as the cover photo on the website drop or find one as similar as possible to go with my other two giraffe Northwoods and if I didn’t score I would be content.

Sure enough I got lucky again!

I’m really happy with how Jay made these, thanks bbfish for sharing, and I will find my own way to do this small USA made fixed blade justice.

I just checked my receipt confirmation again, I think Jiki's estimate is more accurate than mine. I was expecting them to last a bit longer than that though, I expect alot of them will be resold and secondary market prices will deflate quickly.

It will be interesting to see what secondary will be like on these. How much of the Northwoods value is in the name? And how much is in the manufacturer?
