Let's talk Northwoods

Northwoods is just hitting home runs this year. I like each knife for what it is and isn’t, but they all have their own charm.

So what was the big deal? I "procured" all of them, and took my time. I thought they would not go as fast as the Little Bays and the Madison Barlow. Hey 10 minutes and they were still there? That is plenty of time. My gut instinct is correct enough to feel comfortable expressing my opinion and will to eat my words later. This time I will hold those words.

I got lucky and scored the only Lincoln Jack that I saw anyway lol right at opening in Burlap Micarta which was exactly what I went there for

Mammoth still there at a premium!

I snagged a giraffe bone. I like this pattern and size and I don't own a Giraffe Bone knife yet. Seemed like a good time to fix that "problem".

Some real nice looking giraffe bone. Bright colors (and allot of dark wood looking giraffe too). Saw one OD green lol

Coughed up the premium for a mammoth since I don't have anything in that cover material yet.

Glad to see someone is going for the mammoth. I picked up a weave and an OD green because the price was just too good to pass up.

It was easy this time if you wanted one of the Micarta variants. There was only one picture of each. No picking and choosing except on the Mammoth.

Wasn’t planning on getting one but took a look anyway. Seemed to be enough time to actually look, choose and buy if one wanted this time. Still a bunch of giraffe and mammoth as I’m typing. I’m guessing it’s cause no ones got any money left after the Little Bay run, lol! I didn’t get one of them either, last one I picked up was a Hawthorne.

I took a peek at some giraffe, pics of both sides on all of the ones I looked at. Not that I was planning on getting one anyway but they didn’t seem to match the sides well on the ones that looked interesting to me.
