Exactly. I was kind of hoping this philosophy would hold me back from spending money.

Curious. Did you order them one at a time. Or in one fell swoop? Pretty ballsy if it was the latter ;)

The giraffee bone Northwoods I have are fantastic. I've always been impressed in that they look, even better in person.

I managed to get a burlap. First try failed. Second try I got a message stating you can only purchase one at a time. Did anyone else see that?

I placed my order nervously at exactly 5:00 EST for the burlap and it didn't go through the first time. I thought I was too late but tried again and my order went through. Can't wait to get mine!
 
It was still a great surprise to see this NW release including how stealthy it was compared to the "Steve" hype from the Bear Lake run. Today's small haul should almost keep me busy and hold me over long enough to forget about wanting an IRJ release until at least 2018;).

Like a clip blade, really like double bolsters and love a 15 frame! :thumbsup:

I haven't been this interested in a northwoods knife in some time.
i kind of wished I had made plans to pick one of these up. That giraffe bone has always caught my attention, and there's just something about that single clip 15 that just works!

No but my first time it said there was nothing to buy after I had it in my cart and clicked PayPal then picked my payment options and kicked me baxk to the site .That was at like 500pm so I tried again and it went threw. Just for kicks I tried to put another in my cart a few minutes later and they were sold out of the burlap .

I was hoping that either red or black linen would unexpectedly show up as choices at the last minute. I was then torn between the burlap and denim, eventually deciding on the latter. I wanted a polished option in micarta, darn it!

That's how I ended up with a giraffe! I'm stoked to get them in hand. The arrowhead shield is so great, and the rustic clip blade really makes for an attractive package.
 
Managed to snag giraffe bone #38 a whole 10 minutes after they went live! I had my eye on OD canvas, but they sold out while I was busy with work, and this one's certainly not gonna get kicked out of bed...
