I said I was going to see if I could get one when I chill a bit and take my time because I wanted to build some funds for a possible 77 barlow in '18. There goes that plan!! ha ha.

What???? I thought I got to choose my micarta. Now I am disappointed.
I could be wrong. I was just a spectator and didn't buy one but it seemed that way to me.

Almost got one but there was pages of them and couldn't decide so went with what I went there for the one and lonely burlap Micarta while it was there . Signed in 1 minute before opening it was there at 5pm eastern . Pulled the trigger got it and there was no more lol . Glad I didn't hesitate and like the fact its the one and lonely I know of in circulation but I'm sure there was more . ...I think
if there was any the burlaps left they sold 1 to 2 minutes of opening .I think LR is just teasing!
I was kinda bummed there was no red linen this time around, and this would have been a knockout in stag. Happy with the ones I got tho!

Yeah I pulled the trigger on the Mammoth but did not start "jonzing" about it if I was not able to nab one. I said I wasn't going to try anymore, as it's just not worth the aggravation or the money.
However I've been wanting a denim micarta of (almost) any pattern since they debuted, and figured I might as well stop in and give it one shot with no expectation.
It looks like I finally got one. I sure hope it's a good one...

I almost bought the denim. I just can't help myself. Besides a select styling of giraffe bone coloring I always prefer the denim. It just does it for me. But since I didn't have a burlap, I got one of those to see in person. Many pictures of the burlap look wildly different, some pics and lighting it looks great, some not so much. Excited to see this. I wasn't going to, but better to get my hands on one and decide vs. wishing I would have. I was lucky to start my lunch today at the time of release.
