How do you do it?

I couldn't get any mammoth or camel bone finishes.

Well I had a mammoth in my cart but couldn't get checked out fast enough. I missed the "agree to terms" checkbox at first. Don't know if this was a long enough hiccup to cost me the knife. Tried to get two other mammoths, but they were gone before it would let me put them in my cart. Luckily, I had low expectations, but it was still fun.

Congratulations to those who were able to get one!

Well, you had time only for one. Adding a knife with different cover risks both, unless your partner also pulls the trigger at the same time on a separate device. I went for the micarta and was able to check-out quick, but by then all knives had vaporized. They literally lasted for just over a minute, and this run was larger!

I was camped out on about page 4 when the drop happened, and then I just scrolled down and clicked something “dark”. I knew I wouldn’t have time to choose.

The checkbox is the biggest "gotcha" and I bet it got you.

I literally just clicked on the first micarta knife I saw when it went live, and then I just raced through the rest of the steps, including clicking PayPal payment and that nasty old "agree to terms" box.

I very rarely have luck anywhere else, but I've managed to get a Northwoods from them every time I've tried over the years. So it's good for me that I like the Northwoods so much.

I will post a picture here when it arrives. Can't wait!

Those mammoth covers are beautiful! I was fortunate enough to get a red saw cut bone. It amazed me how fast they went

Red saw cut bone for me as well. Tried for micarta and failed, hell I didn't even attempt the camel or mammoth. Figured everyone was going for those first. I am sure some will be for sale soon from the damn flippers but I'll carry mine.

I tried mammoth first, no way. Then camel bone, same thing.

Then micarta, this time it worked.

I first went camel and failed
Second attempt I got the red sawcut bone.
I had another tab open for camel bone. So on a lark I refreshed and there were 2 (dark) left. Clicked on the second one and got that too!

Very weird..
I've been trying these drops ever since I stupidly sold my Fremont 7-ish years ago. I had essentially given up on the drops and got a really nice K,Roo wharnie this past year. I was pretty much 50/50 on whether or not to even participate in this last drop, and did it more out of habit.
So I guess the secret is to not really care whether or not you can actually score one.
