Let's talk Northwoods

I've never been able to get Northwoods drops to work. I didn't get any individual knife listings to show until a minute after the drop, and by then they were selling out rapidly. Got a chance to try on four or five but someone else was certainly further ahead in checkout than my late butt.

That's ok, there are other knives and also a $2,000 bill from the car dealership to replace my fuel injectors.
 
I lucked into a chestnut jigged bone which I'm pretty excited about. It'll be my first slipjoint of the year and almost makes up for the case/bose coffin jack that slipped out of my hands not too long ago. I told myself I'd slim down my non case collaboration knives but just one northwoods can't hurt, right?
 
This was my first Northwoods drop. I learned the hard way that if something was in my cart that it was not safe so I was too slow on the checkout and lost it. Better luck next time.

They should have one year we're they let people outside the usa in on the drops,mind you I have such a lag with my tablet and my slow small town internet dial up would beat me.i think our internet bounces off a satellite in a baltic country then the signal has to be translated into canadian and then sent to america.but I was fortunate to be able to pick up a northwoods a few months back off the exchange and the craftsmanship was perfect.now I'm hooked wanting another northwoods pattern.

As a jigged bone addict I had to try. Did some preparations this time. Girlfriend kicked out. Cardio. Squats. Knuckles cracked. Limbered up. Checked the back seat. No drinking. Perfect combination of Mountain Dew and mozzarella. Juuust the right amount of grease on the keyboard. Oh, I was unstoppable.

"Payment error".

Tried again with another method that took 3 extra seconds aaaaaaand it was too late.

Then brain remembered: This happened to me the last time too, but then I tried the same method twice and it worked.
