Let's talk Northwoods

@NewBlades16 I do not use a sheath after reading Tone Bose’s words. I was already on the fence about pocket sheaths. However, as a Northwoods fan, it’s nice to see the knife pouches that seemed forgotten. I also never carry coinage.

I like seeing others pocket sheaths and coinage, but it’s not my cup of tea.
 
I would like to see a rustic series Northwoods based on the #26 sleeveboard pattern. It could be a mini-Fremont. The Fremont is based on the #79 sleeveboard pattern, which allows for a bigger, chunkier looking blade than an equal-end pattern.

Just imagine a combination of these two...

Just curious, what did Tony say about pocket sheaths?

Yep. I too still use one for EI (I was always told it dislikes fabric softener) and the occasional “have to” to spare my phone while wearing ‘normal’ shorts.

Hulk2e Hulk2e Glad you enjoyed the waiver. I do try to always pocket carry these days.
 
I'm loving the Delta Jack! Right after it arrived, we got 6 inches of snow in Alabama. Looks like the Delta Jack brought a little of the Northwoods to Alabama.

Those black linen micarta little bays are the best!! But hey, your knives are getting all wet man yikes :eek:

Your picture really shows the differences between the Freemont Jack and the new Delta Jack. Even though both are of the same closed length with the same blade type, there are plenty of obvious differences.

Is that all the BLM Northwoods or are you missing a couple? Was the Bear Lake or Presidential available in BLM? Nice collection!

Yeah the fremont is a whole nother beast... that said, I love the 35 pattern.

HAMSCO, That is the nice dark blue bone I wanted. I got into the queue to late and they only had the mottled lighter blues left. Oh well, maybe next time.
