Let's talk Zero Tolerance.

I have the classic 0560 and love it. One if the smoothest flippers at least in my collection. Great knife. Go for it.
Much bigger than I thought. I like a knife with some width and weight, so it fit perfectly.

I only have one BW knife (Skyline). The BW looks better in person than what I've seen in pics.

As for the 0560, I have a few as well. They are excellent knives. They are fairly large, but the way they're designed, they actually carry reasonably comfortably in pocket (keeping in mind that, again, they are larger knives). If you're looking for a heavy duty knife, it's definitely one to consider. While I don't have a 0560BW, I think the BW finish would look great on that knife. I believe they also coat and blackwash the titanium locking scale on that model (I may be wrong about that, but I think that's the case).

anybody own a 560 blackwash i need opinions

I've got one.

Very nice knife. Great flipper, the bearings work well to smoothly open the blade and the detent is just enough without making it an effort to flip. Large enough that it can take on heavy work, yet small enough to be reasonably pocketable (although I don't like carrying any large knife if wearing slacks).

The Elmax steel seems to hold up well and takes an edge easy enough (harder than some, easier than others). I love the blackwash look and it seems to handle scratches better than a regular DLC coated knife. Or maybe it hides them better.

The lock side is gorgeous, IMHO, but the show side is just ordinary. I wish that they had made both sides with the same blackwashed 3-D machined titanium.

Love mine. Great knife, IMHO. :) I don't have a solo picture right now, but this is it (along with the rest of my small collection of ZTs) at the top of the picture. You can guage size if you are fmailiar with any of the others.

Best of luck on your decision.

I mainly want to know how the BW is in person.

It's awesome in person. It's a real dlc coating that had been tumbled. That means it is a stronger finish than any other acid/stone wash or 'fallout' treatment.

It's also the best costing for hiding wear which is why it was developed.

I've got one. Love it. Make sure you get one from the newest batch though. They've added in the steel lockbar insert to get rid of the sticky titanium problems.

Wow they have the steel insert now?! Nice! I do wish they would have used a smaller headed bolt tho, or even two small ones like on the pocket clip, it looks a little funky with one that big on the lock bar IMO

I've got a 560bw and love it. I did add a custom G10 scale though. Of all the pics I have seen it is hard to do the finish justice without seeing it in person.

I see what you're saying. Kind of like to mirror the other end where the pocket clip is. Not a bad idea.

Yeah I was surprised when I got it as well. Those pictures don't really make the screw look too great, but on the knife in real light it's much less noticeable.

Exactly :D

Yeah, I've had the same thought since they put it on the 801 and the 300 models. It just looks a little out of place to me. It wouldn't stop me from buying one tho :D

Just found bella blades....... Wow. Very nice. Sebenza work too? Hmmmmmm lol. I don't know if I can part with my micarta though.

Matt is a class act. Really good dude from what I can tell. I have yet to work with him, but we've gone back and forth through PM about scales and he is really passionate about this stuff.
