Libations worthy of the Hinderer Herd....

As much as I enjoy a good pale ale, I do have an affinity for a good malbec. I am not versed enough to know what makes a great malbec but I know when I like it:) My other love is rum, with my favorite being Mount Gay Eclipse... Delicious!!

Some Orlando restaurants are very disappointing recently. One didn't even have two (maybe more...I stopped after two misses) listed on their menu/displayed.

I have been trying different bourbons recently, and I am trying one from a lower shelf, because this 4 pack of dangerous IPAs looked tempting. Honestly, I haven't had a bourbon I didn't like (or that mixed with Coke couldn't fix).

And I just realized both have the initials E.B.

Molotov Cocktail is great. It packs a hop punch to it.

After drink report: whew! Lots of citrus and hops at first, then very sweet, which covers up the 13% alcohol. Definitely a sipping beer. I liked it, but it didn't beat out Stone's Ruination or Flying Dog's Double Dog Double IPA.

Yeah, Ruination and Ruintenare both solid from Stone. Have you tried Devil Dancer from Founders or Palate Wrecker from Green Flash?

Both of those are very good. Not too sweet but Green Flash makes a triple that's really malty if you prefer that. It's called Green Bullet. It's kinda like a DFH 90 minute that's been given a bump in abv. Not quite 120 minute level though.

Part of the Jim Beam small batch family, Baker's is my favorite Bourbon as of now, it has a great spicey aftertaste. Four Roses is a good time to!

I've been real fond of Knob creek the last couple of years. Bought local in NC, it had a cork & ran $50 a fifth. Bought in VA, it had a screw top & was $35 a fifth. Exact same contents, bottle logo, & wax drip. Personally, I prefer the screw top as it tends to ride in a cooler in the back of the truck to Shenandoah valley every Halloween. As far as beer goes, Hobgoblin has been my favorite for about two years now. I can only find it in a local Ingle's. Nowhere else within 30 miles. $4+ for a pint but man it's good! Like a Guinness raped a New Castle! In a good way...

Watching the masters, cooking chicken and dumplings, and drinking Woodford out of a Gentlemen Jack glass.
