Like a phoenix? CSC is reborn...

mbkr mbkr Interesting prototype that, personally I find the bolsters somewhat overlarge.
The 2015 Forum Knife certainly had a nice low-rider Sheep foot, hardly above the Clip when viewed from mark side  all on single-spring and all stainless construction:thumbsup: Fine snap too, and the Bocote on mine is not lacklustre;)

A few years ago, CSC did the forum knife. This is one of the prototypes. The forum knife ultimately had wood handles without bolsters. Also the sheepfoot's nail nick was on the opposite side from this one. That would be a better design in my opinion because then the secondary could ride lower. Not sure if the forum knife's sheepfoot did ride lower, but if it didn't, it shoulda oughta.
This one is elk with bolsters and is the only one like it ever made. It was never a production knife. The steel is 440c. Being a prototype, its not quite up to CSC's usual standards in that it has some blade play on both blades. Excellent snap and walk and talk though. Really quite a handsome knife and only elk handled knife I own.

Very cool knife and neat history. I agree, the secondary nick shoud be on the other side, but other than that... Wow!
