Like a phoenix? CSC is reborn...

does any one have a trout and csc boys knife to compare together, my eyes are playing tricks on me i think the blade looks wider on the trout

Wider from edge to spine, or wider in stock thickness? Edge to spine, my Trouts appear identical to my standard CSC boy's knives. Stock thickness seems the same as well, although the trouts seem to have a slightly thicker grind toward the tip.

I am trying to see if the blade appears broader? the blade stock appears to be similar in thickness

A few more I picked up along the way  Flannel Pinch from the recent run...Barlow and Whittler from the older runs.
The build quality on these is exceptional.

Hard to see in the photo but there is a CSC stamp on the barlow bolster.CSC_Barlow_02.jpg

This is not a CO-OP knife. I did a search and if there is a separate CSC thread, I did not find it. So......
Just got this Cannitler today. Between this and the Red Trout's, I'm quite impressed with CSC. These are some very nice, well made knives

The Cannitler they did for our forum knife some years back was really well done. That's a fine looking specimen. Is it D2? I think ours was. I'll have to check.

I have to agree...I have been acquiring more and more CSC's and every one (new or older) has been exceptional quality. It is my new favorite to collect in fact  Anything that Eric ( ea42 ea42 ) had his hands on is something I keep an eye out for :)

It would be nice to see them come out with some new ones for sure. In the mean time here's an old one. I'm starting to get a mini collection of CSC's. This one has 420HC blades. Pics, at least the ones I take, don't do it justice.
