That is a good article. I like the "assault glove." I think guns and knives are viewed very similarly, and should be dealt with in the same responsible fashion.

work just told a bunch of consultants, including myself, "great job, everything is looking GOOD, and good bye, return property NOW or face penalties, have a nice day"

well, time to polish that resume, guess the axe that chopped my neck was plenty polished when it got to me ;)

snark

Welcome home, Bladite!

I hope you are able to find a new place of employment quickly.

bastids.
Bladite is a guru. I'd call him a greybeard if he had one.
Let me know when you're hiring people for your awesome startup.

Just watching a NY TV station. New Jersey is completely out of gas. All the terminals got flooded, so the stations couldn't get resupplied. The few stations that have inventory have half-mile long lines to buy $20 worth of gas. (My Jeep Hemi would use more than $20 worth waiting in line! ) So much for having a generator to supply your electricity.
Also showing long lines of people waiting for handouts of food in NYC because the neighborhood shops can't get resupplied and are out of inventory. {UPDATE} Also stories of people coming from non-effected areas of the city with bags of groceries and warm clothing and handing it out to those waiting in line.

Yesterday the Mayor (who blamed the hurricane on Global Warming) closed Manhattan to anyone in cars with less than three people, because the tunnels and subways are still underwater and they feared gridlock for everyone trying to drive into the city.

Nasty stuff.

Hey K9, I know it's a little bit early, but I'm gonna be up in New England for most of December and part of January, do you think I could stop by and have a little bit of work done on one of my BKs? If not then I'll go through normal routes, but I figured it would save time and money.

I'm here in my shop Monday thru Thursday. Depends on what you want. DuraCoat isn't instant dry, for instance. Media blast? No problem.
What kind of stuff are you looking to do?

Flickr is odd... They don't give you just a simple code to paste like photobucket. They make you post this whole long thing. PB it's just an IMG code that you post and it's done.

Small DuraCoat decal, I sent you an email about it back at the beginning of summer, I'll include the stencil either way. Think sub 3" x 1.5", on the new coating if that has any effect on dry time. The only reason I mention the email is in case you remember it, don't bother going to dig it up.

Hence why I use PB. :D

Saw this in the store yesterday.

Damn Bladite that blows! Sorry to hear that. What kind of consulting do you consult? If you don't mind my asking.
