Gettin' snipped Friday. Trying to decide whether I'm more nervous about the discomfort or more excited about the fact that I've committed to laying around on my butt reading and watching movies all weekend or more irritated that the doc says I need to wait two weeks before gettin' back in action and four damn months before I'm swimmer-free. Gonna ask him if he cares if I take pictures while he's doing his thing :D

Piece of Cake....

Easiest medical thing I ever did...no discomfort at all..

I'm so glad things worked out so well for you. Mine was a little more, shall we say. Adventurous. The Doc put in the wrong kind of stiches. The kind that don't desolve. So I had to have them cut out a week later after everything was swollen. It was a real good time. Hey BRL. Go stock up on bags of frozen pees now. Jay-c is running a sale on them!

I haven't had the snip, but my boys had to have another surgery a few years ago.....it wasn't very fun......

Just heard that our lake has a new record walleye that was caught recently. Supposed to be 13lbs 15.5oz................I'll try and find a news story or something and post it later.

Somebody stole the pumpkin that I was going to enter the contest with. Bastids.

Dude, if it weren't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all. You need to start chasing rainbows or blow a leprechaun or something. Your luck needs to change.

Yeah.... Vic Huntsman with Stayglow handles came in today.

The doctor around here that specializes in the big V has done over 25000 of them. No stitches, no cut (a puncture), out patient.. takes 15 minutes. I went in, got prepped, then the procedure. Wife even got to stay and watch. I got up walked out and went to a deli in the mall and drank New Castle Brown Ale, went home and was fine the next day. The doc had already done one on almost every guy where I worked. (those that wanted them) No one had a single problem. Mine was done 18 years ago now.
Sorry yours was an adventure in pain. I had heard stories like that too. But its all in the doctor you get.

My body is saturated with pumpkin right now. For dinner I made cayenne spiced ginger pumpkin soup with cinnamon brown sugar croutons. Of course, served with a pumpkin ale.
