For those who were askin. Spoke with K-9 today via PM. A lot of power loss around them but him and the wife are fine.

Yes good indeed, also hear from him this morning.... and see his name at the bottom. hope the weather is clearing up for ya bud.

On the way home from Ethans we stopped at SMKW and I got a chance to peruse some of their goods. Didn't grab much, but I did snag an ESEE pouch for my BK16 setup. Here are pics with it attached.

Fits it perfectly, and inside I have an emergency blanket, 50 feet of that cordage we were trying to track down for Ethan, about 12 feet of gorilla tape, and a few firestraws. I still have a bit more room in the very bottom of the pouch, and I also plan on adding a big ole chunk of heavy duty aluminum foil in there as well.

Gusty had a really bad time with his also. Judging by the conversation at the gathering I wounder if a few kicks to the nuts would be better.

Then think about getting kicked every hour for a whole weekend.... I'm one of the group, also.

My urologist was running late for some reason, and the scheduled surgeries started backing up. He came running in, out of breath, and just started cutting. For me, he didn't even wait for the anesthesia to kick in. I yelled, "Stop! Stop! I can feel you cutting!" He didn't stop.

I was on my back in bed all weekend. Barely started moving on Monday. I asked a friend who had experienced it himself why he didn't tell me how bad it was. "If I told you, you would have never had it done!" was his reply.

And now i will never have it done :) i only got a couple children, a couple more is only a million more headaches, sleepless nights, diaper changes, all my money, but still it sounds better than someone slicing my berries all to hell.

I got the pull out, and the spray and pray birth control methods.

and at 50 a pop the morning after pills are no joke

There's also birth control pills and condoms haha.

Im married, we tried birth control pills but that made my wife angry or emotional and Im not quite sure what that "C" word is bro? I believe it was one of the words that were deleted from my vocab the moment i said I DO! :)

there was another word deleted, it had to do with being free to do what i wanted when i wanted and being my own boss, cant figure out what it was anymore :)

My father in law got snipped after having twins (one is SWMBO) -- 9 years later he had it surgically reversed -- I'm told this is even worse -- and had 3 more kids.
my best friend got snipped in the early 90's after waking up with a wedding ring after a particularly rowdy weekend (that's the story I'm sticking to!) -- this marriage didn't last.
a few years later, he met someone worth spending time with and one day she informed him he was going to be a daddy -- despite the snip, a condom, and her being on the pill. after their 4th kid, they both got snipped. so far, no new surprises.

good luck with the surgery!

I have a couple of cousins that were supposed to be prevented by the snip job. I've figured, it's not worth the pain. Heck, I'd be happy to have more kids. Then again, I'm only 32, so I may change my mind down the road.

I really like that pouch/sheath combo, but where does the gallon of Vaseline go?

Nice setup. I see you have your tek-lok rotated. Do you carry it scout or on your pack?

Well, sounds like I've got an ultra shty weekend ahead of me. Good to have realistic expectations so thanks for the feedback. Time tends to fly by for me, so I'm going to do my best just to focus on that moment when the doc gives me the thumbs up to start going bareback.

That worked out nice. I like it.

I have been wearing it cross draw like a southpaw would have it setup only I am right handed, and that has worked really well, but after adding the pouch I think I am going to have to rig up some type of vertical carry maybe drop leg setup for it. I have a few ideas floating around and a weekend of time to tinker with it, so we will see what I can come up with.

Thanks Dubz. It isn't what I was ultimately after but it does the job well enough to work. Finding purpose built items that can be readily adapted to the idea you have in your head is pretty hard sometimes.

I hear that. On a side note, I think I'm going to mod my 9.

You are trying to make it like a scaled down version of your two?

I like the pouch, I been thinking about getting one. I don't know what I'd put in it just yet.

So, I just bought gold membership for here, Moose convinced me at the gathering.

I also had a free $75 gift card for Amazon so I just bought a BK-7. Didn't REALLY need it, but I don't have it yet. Figured it was time to break into the big boys (besides the 5).

Congrats on going gold.
Now go into your group prefs and select the right one. You're still showing up as a Basic Purple Member. (*ahem*)
