Murph, the next time I see you I need to punch you...lol Every time I see the snark thread I hear the song in my head. " LIKE A RAINBOW IN THE SNAAAAAAARRRRRK !" I blame you.

Derek, I think it's time to take a sh*! on Debra's desk.

About to pack for a backpack trip. Might get to see an old man and his kitchen help on Sunday.

Sounds fun. Unfortunately, the wife has to work on this nice, warm weekend, otherwise, we'd probably be doing the same. At least camping anyways.

I'm working the rifle sight in at the club all weekend. Supposed to be warm, but rainy.

Also, K9 is the man. Just got the pass around gear and unfortunately I'll have no time to play until at least Tuesday.

A little rounding in the transition area helps too IMO.

That's a good point. I think I may shave it with the round file after I strip the coating off. I was never very interested in the 11 always liked the 14 but now I dig the 11 also.

Looks good CF.

I hate USPS, apparently my package is somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin and hasnt moved in two days..

It's great setup, cf! Mine has done very well holding zero, even when I had it on a 308.

I didn't think about that. It does have a flipper. (See bottom insert.)
So if you pop the flipper and flick the wrist, it shoots open.
That might be a no-no for Canadian customs even if I tightened down that front pivot screw.

no it's only if you can flick it open from the closed position. I think it would be ok if you tightened the pivot screw. Is it too late to take you up on your offer? I got distracted last night after replying.

Loving my Skyline so far.

One of my favorite things about it?

You can instantly tell a knife person from a non-knife person if they can figure out how to open it without you coaching them. I've already had it happen with a few friends. They think simply pushing the flipper will pop it out like switch blade, then are embarassed when it half flops out. Nothing shameful about that, they just need coaching :)

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! In packing for this trip, I found a rather expensive Patagonia rain shell that I thought I'd lost at work. Good times.

Sure, I can go by Wal-Mart next week and pick one up. It's on the "to do" list.

No travel advised in my area today, not even in town because its so icy. People have literally been ice skating in the streets. Pretty sure I will be taking the night off along with no hunting this afternoon. Guess that even the gravel roads are covered in a quarter to half an inch of ice. Luckily we haven't lost any power, but is has flickered a few times.

It's an unusual 75° here right now.
