Got these today from a trade (thanks again Jacob!). Traded my Manix 2 for them, I just didn't have a role for that knife and it was sitting in my drawer.

Vic Ranger and Kershaw Skyline. The Skyline has some jimping added on the spacer and near the flipper, pretty nice. Forgot to take a pic of the jimping maybe later.

I really want a skyline, but the only place selling it here is selling it for 80 bucks.

sheesh.

Hmm, your clip is loose? Mine was nice and tight. You might wanna take a torx driver to those screws, better if it starts tight and works to how you like it (with the very occasional re-tightening). Maybe just my preference.

The clip, not the screws. It's a very springy steel. Compared to my Gerber Paraframe which I have trouble putting in my pocket because the clip is so tight...

sheesh.

Ouch. They go for $30 plus tax at the Wally Worlds here. If you want me to pick you up one sometime, give a shout. I'm assuming that, even with customs and shipping, you'd save some cash.

I'm tempted by the S30V version that Bladeforums is going to put out. Still debating that one.

So, who likes what brand of cold blue? I decided Helga and Becca need to be blued now because they have some REALLY nice look pits (nothing deep, just nice and dark).

Hard to beat Brownell's Oxpho-Blue.

Guyon, it would be so cool if you could do that for me.

Just one thing before i seriously ask you to do it. How easy is it to wrist flick it open? If it's too easy then customs will take it...

I didn't think about that. It does have a flipper. (See bottom insert.)
So if you pop the flipper and flick the wrist, it shoots open.
That might be a no-no for Canadian customs even if I tightened down that front pivot screw.

7:30 AM theres a truck backing up and beeping and jack hammers going off. Great.

I've got some "special" beer to have with my T-Day meal and I'm pumped to try it. Thanks again Biscuit.

Suck it up city boy! ;) They been working on the street behind my house since April of this year. You gotta be pretty darn loud for anyone to notice you around here anymore.

TKC. does have some nice scales. if i dont trade off the esee rc-6 ill probably pick some up thanks.

My grandma turned 98 yesterday. Kinda crazy when you think about what she has seen in her lifetime. Shes a great lady and mostly blind now, but she is still able to recognize most everyone by their voices. She even lives on her own still with a bit of help form family members.

On another note, deer rifle season starts in 1.5hrs here and I'm packing a buck tag this year!!

Congrats to her (and your family)! Woodrow Wilson was president when she was born....

Enjoy the deer season. I hunted near Carrington 3 years ago and it was fun. Way different the hunting the woods and hills around here.

I made a fruit salad this morning. Also got a new BK-11 and I gotta say I like the grip. The optional scales really make it feel like a "whole knife". Not sure I like it better then the BK14 but I've had my 14 for a year and a half now so I'm more used to it and kinda a little attached. I've also got an izzy2 on the way. I want to try the extended handles.

A little rounding in the transition area helps too IMO.

So apparently I got three sheets to your mom last night and stippled my tweener scales and tried to sell Tradewater some steak knives. Good times. Today sucked. Yesterday sucked too. Time to look for a new job. Thanks Murf for posting that picture up for me. It is very grippy now.

Always happy to help a fellow drunkard.
