Limited edition "Sprint Run" CPM M4 Malanika Puukkos

I have 2 of his Puukos one in 52100 another in 80CRV2. Used them both for field dressing one pronghorn and two whitetails plus all meat processing (boning out) 0f the carcasses. Only needed a strop touch up once in the entire period.
That is performance! Change you can believe in! Grin.

All 5 of them look great! Very cool project. I would have a hard time picking a handle material, they all look sooo nice!

Such a cool project!! They look great!

Thanks for doing this!!
I just received mine (pictured in post 65) about 15 minutes ago and it is just as beautiful in person as in the photos above.
What you can't see in the photos is how amazing it feels in hand. It just become an extension of the hand. The craftsmanship on both the blade, handle, and sheath are topnotch. I have been following DBH's in use review on the Reviews section and am eager to put this blade to work. That might have to wait until this weekend unless I want to sharpen pencils or something (about the only wood thing in my office). I am sure it will function as well as it looks.
How'd it do?
This project turned out awesome. Love the finished product.

Daniel is some kind of magician. He just make these things by eye and muscle.

Just awesome
:) makes me all warm n fuzzy

Those Puukkos look awesome! I am so jealous!

Thanks brother, I know the feeling ;)

Hey, Thanks man. Appreciated.

Thanks for nothing, DeadboxHero - posting these staggeringly beautiful knives hit me right in the gut (...or wallet)!!

Im on a Puukko high after having neglected the stark simple knives for many years and recently dug out my old Wirkkala Pukko and by chance was then shortly after presented with its little brother as a gift. Ive been using that one a lot lately.

Ive been buying way too many knives lately but now I want a Malanika Pukko badly...., thanks for nothing!:D

Oh you are just an evil person, lol. That is such a sweet knife. Too bad I couldn't afford this one when you were starting this.

Hahahaha,Honestly, sometimes I think it keeps me from posting more because I'm too busy using it and enjoying it all to myself. So I have to stop and remember to take pictures:D lol

Sharing is caring after all ; )

:D Ohh, you seem to cope with the 'blame' just fine .. :D:D

That is a gorgeous knife in post #86 - great pics as well.

Nice to see quality knives actually being used.

Haha doctor says I'll make it ;)

Yup, quality tools need to be used to be enjoyed. Otherwise what's the difference hahaha.

Not going to lie though sometimes a knife is so pretty it's painful to see a single scratch.

Sigh, but I manage. The struggle is real. :D lol

I quite agree - the first couple of scratches are sometimes painful to observe.

But thats far outweighed by the feel and use of a quality tool IMO.

Further more:

“The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory.”

when is the next run. I would love to be in on it....maybe CPM3V or M390 or S90 pls :) or zladinox Vanadis10 with Elmax :O
