Limited Editions Released Today (2/19/2020)

Pass. No funds.
My (ugly) looks won't get me a quarter cuppa day old cold coffee that someone used as a ash tray (ew. yuck.), let alone one of these knives.

Got the 112........! Forgot the gift code.
Edit..I was at the VA in Gainesville when I got a heads up SOMETHING was coming I might want so I was watching my Email and seen it while I was in Publix's getting KathyJo some soup she likes..I seen the price and stopped. I just bought the BOTM 112 in January, the last Custom shop Mastodon Ivory 112 in December and right before that the 'Tracks' LE with a MSRP of $875.00 plus a few Ebay Bucks in that time frame I'm not counting AT ALL..I'm throughly Bucked out. All during the drive home I was totally bummed I had to pass on this truly Odd 112. I even missed Joe's limited Custom 112 from the last Web Blast ( one of 40 something?) Kathy asked me why I quiet and I told her about having to pass on this one to save money for our trip to the Blade Show in June. She then asked me if I would like to get it as her birthday present to me (May 21 ) and I couldn't log on fast enough to Bucks Website just hoping one of the 18 was still left at 5:42 Eastern time..I agree this is one of the oddest and rarest 112 Joe Houser Customs yet !! I hope Joe will tell us the back story on how and why this one came to be. Its totally unique.
I liked your story too
But yes Joe,s input would be great

So Joe can you give us some insight on how you decided to create this truly unique 112? Just the blade alone is so different (including being 2 3/4") plus the carbon fiber handles ..We want to peak behind the curtain!

Same thing happened to me on another order. I suggest to call them or send an email to customer service. I sent an email to customer service - with my order number, name and address and explaining I forgot to add the code - receive an email the very next morning saying that buck would take care of it.
What is this "gift code"?

you will not get any input from joe--he does not frequent the forum at all--joe is busy building knives-that's it.....

I can tell you that is a badazz 112--saw them a couple weeks ago and you are going to love it...grab one if ya can--I leave the webblast knives alone....
Don’t ask why but I ordered another one of that 112 maybe because only 18 made still wondering what made me do it

Just talked to a friend at Buck who told me that there IS a couple of the 112's left...

I knew I should not have looked ! I was thinking this would make an amazing Christmas gift yesterday (as they say, Christmas is always just around the corner), but I was sure the 112 would be sold out today - I'm really shocked. By "a couple", can you give a more accurate number. I'm going to have to figure out a way to purchase another one today - before they do Sell Out !

I am surprised that it’s not sold out
I thought they would not last more than 10 minutes after the listing
Wondering what is the reason

Ok you guys, cut it out.

I ordered the 110 with maple burl a few days ago and that was that. Done. FYI, I forgot to add the promo code for the freebie 110 and emailed them and they replied: "No problem, got you covered" So I am getting the freebie after all. BUT THEN I came back to this thread and you all 'talked' me into the 112 which is really not nice of you guys. But I'll forgive you since I did remember this time to put in the promo code. So now I have 4 knives on their way.....

Bad Forum member(s), bad.

I guess that means only 3 left as of 7pm

Laughs
I ordered 2 of them very bad forum
But I got 2 freebie with them

I really look at all things 112.. Few really collect them exclusively like I do and especially chase the odd ones..So I'm not shocked they lasted 24 hours. This IS a different 112 and a lot of Buck collectors will buy a 112 that matches a 110 they have. The BCCI has released at least 7 pairs over the years for that reason. I'm intrigued by the 'short' 2 3/4" Chipped and media blasted blade and of course the handle material. Was it the same stuff on the copper frame BCCI 112's? I will say 112's like this that are unique and/or unusual do well on the resale market..
Joe Houser Customs are highly desirable and sought after and strangely just not seen often. Most folks keep them!

They were probably out of 112 drop point blades so he may have just ground a clip point into a drop point?????
