Lion Steel Dom

Got an email from Lion Steel today about the Slim Barlow. Looks like they offer it in the "Dom." Is this a new release of does anyone have one? Looks like one piece construction; no bolsters.

Anyone get the oblique micarta in hand? I’m on the fence about the stylings. Wish the slim offering had a regular micarta and bolster.

I have one of these in ebony that I love. I saw that a while back Birdvis knives mad custom scales (covers?) for the lionsteels. Some of them are really cool.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of anyone else that makes these? Sadly, birdvis doesn’t make them anymore.

I love the Dom Barlow blade. My son and I just picked up a couple ordered from the company. It is like having a straight edge razor in you pocket at all times. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a Roundhead Damasteel from CK because they were so well made. I'm sold on both blade shapes. 0-2.jpg

Just pulled this one out of the mailbox and thought I would share some pictures.

This thing is light as a feather and the build quality is exceptional. I was looking for a good secondary carry knife do drop in my pocket and pair with a larger modern folder, and I think this fits the bill perfectly.

They even milled out a pocket on the inside of the micarta scales for further weight reduction.

Hello,

Apologies for the slight necromancy; but does anyone have numbers on the weight for the barlow slim in micarta or carbon fiber (from scales), because lionsteel.it lists it at ~3 ounces. I suspect they just took the weight from the titanium handled ones.
Also, can anyone confirm that the slim barlow can be fully disassmbled?

Thanks everyone,

Marcus
