Noted a preference for smooth, blonde horn when I ordered. Check

Got this one today. One more coming in Tuesday![]()
What’s not to like!?!?Opinions please????
This is the question I'm interested in as well. How is the thinner profile on the edge???
I think I'll need to get a dark horn Shuffler for contrast. That looks fantastic!
A couple nice ones there Dean!Really excited about the Shufflers nowbut the original are still the best knife ever.

That white carbon fiber is very striking! Great photo as well! I am also watching for one early next week. Hope you will share yours here too.
Thanks for making these possibleknifeswapper !
Overall, its a win in my book!
I'm very pleased with how mine looks/performs.
Positives:
I don't have an original to compare to, but mine is moderately thin behind the edge.
The blade grinds are nice and consistent.
Overall fit and finish is very nice - chamfers in all the right places, covers fit very well to bolsters, etc.
Blade centering is perfect.
The blade is easily pinch-able at the the double nail nicks
The Canvas micarta is very nice and has a warm dark tone to it.
The size is perfect - right around the GEC 77 / 78.
Minor criticism if I have one at all (Read: MINOR criticism... i.e. really being overly picky):
The walk and talk isn't amazing on my example, but it's not certainly not bad (my very subjective standards)
The pulls are firm, but not overly so. But it doesn't have a strong "snap" when closing to half-stop or closed.
It feels a bit tight, maybe a bit "sticky" is the word i'm going for.
I'm betting this will break in with some honest use though.
The blade will sit pretty low before it pulls itself closed.

nitpick:
It's not the sharpest out of the box, but that's easily remedied.
Overall, this is a great knife.
I'm looking forward to getting my matching shuffler!
Nice overview! I must admit that one of mine felt a little 'sticky' too, compared to how smooth the others are. I pulled the mark side bolster off and just barely adjusted the pivot screw. First I loosened the screw (read barely moved it), didn't help. So I tightened the screw (barely) and it felt much better. Just adjusting the pivot screw a little helped out ALOT. It helped it snap closed and I can now feel/hear the blade when it hits the stop pin. Much improved in my opinion. Might be worth a shot.a bit of GIF action?
Warning: non-traditional opening method applied - had to use the other hand to hold the phone.

How is the thinner profile on the edge???
This is the question I'm interested in as well.
So the edge is thinned on the second run of these also, and not just on the clip point version?
Thanks, James!Mark, congrats on another beautiful Roundhead. They sure look good together!
Was planning on natural micarta... I think I'll order (white)CF instead
