Glad the time has finally come. Anxious to see the palo santo, it looks redder than the palo santo that was on the TC Barlow. I have heard palo santo also called lignum vitae which would be perfect for one of these.

If it is lignum vitae, it's a super dense hard and pretty wood. It sinks in water like a rock. They used it on boats as a bumper for when the boat rubbed against the dock.

The prices increased a bit due to the exchange rate between euro and usd changing since the original order went in around January. The euro has increased in value by quite a bit, I think around 10% since Jan.

Prices went up a bit due to currency conversion. Paid for my Ram's horn last night... Couldn't decide if I wanted a rough or smooth one, so I left it up to the luck of the draw. Some beautiful work on the sample pieces... Love the elk one, and the abalone is wild!

I've got a carbon fiber on the way. I'm looking forward to seeing how the titanium bolsters look with wear. I've never had a titanium scaled knife, and I've read that that they get "snail trails" which I think means burnished marks, rather than scratches. Or do they show scratches as well? Anyone here have experience with titanium?
