Lion Steel "Roundhead" Euro-Barlow

They do show scratches, but they are generally just a slight buff mark where the stonewash gets laid down. Rings, keys, and coins will do it to varying degrees and with different effects, some more brass colored, some more silver colored (the latter tends to be the more common).

When I get home, I will snap a pic of my sebenza that has quite a few and post it alongside a traditional as a reference. I hope an exception to the rule can be made in this case.
I've got a carbon fiber on the way. :) I'm looking forward to seeing how the titanium bolsters look with wear. I've never had a titanium scaled knife, and I've read that that they get "snail trails" which I think means burnished marks, rather than scratches. Or do they show scratches as well? Anyone here have experience with titanium?

Thanks. We'll see what the umpire says. ;)

Maybe post the picture in the Modern & Traditional tread and put a link here, just to be safe.

If the picture and post focus on the scratches and not the knife as a whole, it'll be OK by me.

I got on CK's site and have no clue how to order. I had to create a new account and my account information says I have no reserve! The page I get when I search "roundhead" says no product in this category. Still got till Monday.

Did you follow the link to the old reserve system? these are on the old system not the new one where you have to log in. If you got an email saying your reservation is ready to purchase you should be GTG

Has Lionsteel produced a slip joint before? I can't think of any but I'm curious how the tension will be

Originally i missed out on the CF but checked back after a week or so and some were available so i switched from rams horn to the CF. i like the mix of natural & modern materials but the all modern on one of the oldest traditional patterns really appeals to me. Cant wait to see some of the variations in the horn and wood though! If some are available next week i may go for a wood one:thumbsup:

I had forgotten that I had reserved on of these until I got the email for a Palo Santo. I've never seen this wood in person before, so I'm curious to get it in hand.

Ram's horn paid for! Woot!

Would the ram's horn in this photo be considered rough or smooth? I didn't specify and don't think I have a preference. Just curious. :)

Stag paid for:D

Any "maybe" reservations come through for you all yet?

I went with 'maybe' on all except for the tofu. :p I haven't been contacted yet, and don't really expect to - if at all - until all the 'sure' folks are firmed up.
