Lion Steel "Roundhead" Euro-Barlow

In for a natural micarta clip here. It seems like these are priced very well for what they are. They are the most appealing merger of nostalgia, modern materials and manufacturing to date in my mind.

Was kicking myself for not buying two when the first run dropped.

Now im in line for my second Rams horn! I love this knife.

Glad to see the "Silver Twill" CF/White CF I think looking at the two I am happy I got the early original spear point the clip point is nice but I am think I prefer the spear point. I see no abalone for the clip points this time though and I think those "Silver Twill"/White CF will beg for an anodizing on the bolster to add some nice contrast.

I'm in for the white/silver CF. Now to start saving up. At least we have 5? Months to wait. That clip point is really something. No wonder Mike didn't want to do a run of 77's this year. For me this is better

Love my first run CF, had to go with a natural micarta Shuffler this time around. Will again regret not getting a rams horn, but, too variable for me to chance and I love me some natural micarta. Knife swapper, where did the Shuffler name come from?

I don't think I've seen a single ram's horn cover that I didn't like in the last run. There was so much variety that I will be looking forward to the surprise.

I put in for a Rams Horn spear and a Bocote Shuffler.

Now we wait....

It seems to be close to, if not the same as silver twill that's been used on some old Kershaws. I'm down for a micarta Roundhead though. The CF one is just all kinds of fun.

A question for those with more knowledge and experience but is there anything I need to do with a stag handle knife for maintenance? I have always loved the look of it but first time owning one. I also ask because while it feels great compared to any wood or synthetic handle material I have used it feels dry by comparison. This has made me wonder if I need to do any special maintenance to prevent drying out and any potential problems related to dried out stag that?

A little mineral oil or skin oil from handling will pretty it up. I use mineral and ren wax to protect natural handles.

The Shuffler looks great, Mike! I think the Bocote would look phenomenal with some aftermarket OD Green Micarta bolsters. If my financial situation is looking a little better by the time these drop, I may try to pick up one of the Bocote handled Shufflers.

Yes Bocote!
