Lion Steel "Roundhead" Euro-Barlow

Thanks both of you just looking ahead want to be prepared to properly maintain my knife. I had read about mineral oil which I tend to rub all my knife handles with a little every time I oil a blade. I was slightly worried as some indicate it can or will discolor/darken the stag but I think that was those who soaked it.
A little Renaissance Wax couldn't hurt. I've heard that wax is less likely to darken the stag, though if it's a user, it'll get exposed to oils from your hand, not to mention if you use it to cut food, etc.

Possibly the last person on the planet to get theirs, was drop shipped to @Jason B. for sharpening and a 15 degree edge then forwarded to me abroad.

What can I say? We waited a while for this but boy was it worth the wait. Exceptional f&f and the is the most comfortable slipjoint in hand that I have ever held. The weight, the feel, the radius-ing of everything. I've never held a slipjoint like it. The pull and dual side nail nicks are perfect for my hand (I have a disability due to muscle degeneration) and the knife is a joy to open and close. The big almost spoon shaped spear looks every bit as tough as I expect it to be. The CF slabs. bolsters and blade centring perfect.

I've wanted an EDC like this ever since I first started buying knives.

I'm having a bit of a problem with both of mine, first I put the CF in my pocket for a week then Santos for a week.
Now I'm out of town for a couple weeks with the CF and it's getting a good work out.

The problem is I haven't looked at or even thought about my other knives. ;)
To quote Pomsbz "I've never held a slipjoint like it."
It's pocket knife perfection. :)

I know what you guys mean...
I have had mine in my pocket since it landed. I already gave away my Laguiole.

I have my brother coming to visit me (tonight through the 5th). He is flying in from Salt Lake and I don't know what I am sending back with him. I know he is Not going back empty handed, but who knows what is going to find a new home...

So, I have spend the day, with my Euro Barlow CF. I like it more and more - it performs, so well. I've done normal tasks all day. It's a great feeling to not worry about rust, slime, grit or whatever. I wonder how long it will take to dull the edge? This knife inspires confidence that I have yet to find in another slippie. FTR, my carbon steels are going no where, but this knife - just wow.

knifeswapper knifeswapper You've changed the game with this knife. An affordable "Superknife." I'm noticing some of the finer details and its superb materials. I like it for exactly what it is - IMO - "The 'Superknife' Slippie."

Pomsbz Pomsbz P PirateSeulb I have so many 'funnies' to how this knife is like and better than an Italian Car, after a day's use.

The Shuffler looks great, Mike! I think the Bocote would look phenomenal with some aftermarket OD Green Micarta bolsters. If my financial situation is looking a little better by the time these drop, I may try to pick up one of the Bocote handled Shufflers.

Happy to see the clip version realized. I signed up for the white carbon fiber (well, silver really).
How nice is it to see another run on the books after the first one sold out. I think Lion Steel has a legitimate hit on their hands!

I'm in for a White Carbon Fiber Shuffler. Im super pleased WCF is being an option on the Shuffler.

When it comes to white carbon fiber, having it woven with 'whatever' fiber is chosen really makes it pop. White carbon fiber is bland when not woven. I have no idea how Lion Steel makes theirs or sources it, but white carbon fiber is always better looking woven.
