Saw mention of this by owner of Lionsteel. Apparently proto will be in his booth at Shot.

Anybody have picture or spec?

Found a pic of it from one of the members named lunde covering whats going on in SHOT, looks pretty awesome and its in Elmax!:jerkit::eek::o

I am in for this knife x 3 or 4. It nearly looks like a HEST Folder killer to me with the uncoated blade and you can never go wrong with a well done Spyder Hole . . . Plus Elmax :D

Wow - this is an excitingly awesome new knife. I WILL buy one. I just kinda wish they had a wire clip instead of that stubby little clip, and I'm not thrilled by that weird green G10/micarta scale.

It's not a one piece monolithic handle but I'm sure this saves money and makes it a much more feasible project. Will definitely get a couple if they make it to production.

Edit: it also looks like one scale is aluminum to save on weight and cost.

This might make sense considering Lion Steel has or is about to release an aluminum SR-1. Some places are taking preorders or close to it I believe.

Any chance of a LH version?

Hmmm,

Massive! Also looks like the most expensive Spydie to date. I think this is a good move on Spydercos part, I'll bet they could do well by moving into the 'heavy-duty' market.
