LionSteel Shuffler

I just got my micarta and C/F and the only complaint I have is they are perfect. Yes that is a problem.
The first run Roundhead was already being carried everyday, even though I prefer a clip blade. So I've pretty much ignored the rest of my pocket knives. Now with the clip blade they are even better, than the originals.

I got the Mic out and measured the thickness behind the edge. On the micarta it was .0165 near the tang and .0155 at the tip. The C/F measured .016 all the way across. Perfection.

I've never seen a knife come with what I would call shaving sharp out of the box. These two were very usable sharp with no burr and from me that is high praise for a factory edge.
Since all good reviews need to find flaws.
Another problem is that now I'll more than likely get a third on the next run. Darn you Mike, you are costing me. ;)

I waited about four hours after getting my Ram's horn before re-profiling it. It cut but didn't shave hair as received. I put 15 degrees on it with the Edge Pro and silicon carbide up to 600, then aluminum oxide to 1000. Then a hand micro bevel on 1200 grit diamond hone, followed by a loaded strop. It shaves hair like a razor.

I almost posted the same. I’m just not sure whether I can adjust to carrying a knife without a bail. But I’m sure gonna try for the next week or so.
I was going to suggest drilling holes in the screws to accommodate a bail. On closer inspection, the screws are quite small. They are either #1X64TPI or 1.8mmX0.4mm/thread. The difference in diameter is .073” vs .071”. The difference in pitch is 64TPI vs 63.5TPI. I’ll ask Gianni at the Blade Show. The recess in the head is a #6 TORX.

This beauty arrived in the mail yesterday. I was soooo prepared to not like these CF covers, as I was afraid they would be too “sterile” and was already thinking about what I could trade for. Especially after seeing all of the beautiful Ram’s Horn examples.
I was completely wrong (as usual) and this one is definitely a keeper. The covers look awesome and as @L.H.S pointed out, they are smooth, not textured...almost like an acrylic feel.
Wonderfully pinchable and a perfect pull. It came noticeably sharper than the first run Roundhead.
This one will see a lot of pocket time!
Thanks again, Mike!
