Lisantica your reputation here is far from tarnished. Both the seller and buyer will learn something from this situation and that's what is important here.

Nobody was ripped off, and no money was lost.

We just completed a super smooth transaction. I'll vouch for you.

:)

If the original poster posted this to make me feel ashamed it worked.
If he posted it to ruin my reputation he has.
If he posted it to make me feel less than human, you have done so.

Lisantica, read my post ^^^^

It's best to let this thread die. A week from now it will be gone and your iTrader rating is flawless. Don't beat yourself up. :)

Lisa, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with you. This thread hasn't done any damage to your rep, at least not amongst folks you'd want to deal with anyway.

As for me backing out of a purchase from SharpByCoop, can you please send me a message to refresh my memory, I would like to defend myself if possible.
Hi Lisa,

I see you are distraught, and you're reading things that weren't said. I never had any transaction with you that was a backout. I was referring to the OP's transaction--and only based upon what he wrote.

My second post wishes the title of this thread was changed so it would not reflect badly upon you. We had a lengthy discussion about the process, not the person, and this was beneficial.

I'd deal with you in a heartbeat, and you can bet I'd be confirming ASAP.

Be well. You don't deserve how you are feeling.

Coop

Lisa I believe SharpByCoop was refering to this transaction, not a seperate one with him.
You worry too much. I know your rep in the knife community means a lot too you, but what's done is done. You apolagized and that is all you can do. In the future you might send a warning message to a buyer that -You have not recieved PP and that you have another buyer, and give him a time he has to respond before you take the other offer. This is what I do when my buyers go missing(one I take it disapeared for 3 days before I heard from him). He also should have let you know he was going to be away for a bit.Your rep is fine and I would buy from you anytime. In fact you are one of only a handful of people I will buy from -no questions asked. I agree with TKC- you are tops.

I'm with Lisantica on this one.

As a buyer, a commitment means you either make the payment instantly or get in touch with the seller and make arrangements regarding the payment.
Yeah, I know life happens, but don't let this become a cheap excuse.

Communication is the key.

The OP should edit the title. This doesn't belong here.

I apologize Coop, you are correct, I cannot read/comprehend correctly right now, due to my state of mind that is just utterly, publicly, humiliated.

The OP is a joke. He's crying over spilled milk. OP needs to get over it already. You were given an apology. What more do you want? A letter? That person that commented about GB&U was right. This forum is becoming a G rated version of whine and cheese.

Lisantica,
Please take a deep breath. Please do not let this get you distraught. You are not in the wrong here. I did not mean in the least to imply that you were. By your interaction here, anyone can see that you an upstanding seller and individual. Noone should worry about buying from you.

In fact, mdc5162 is wrong for starting this thread and IMHO owes you an apology.

Lisantica- please add me to the list of those who wouldn't hesitate to do business with you! You've always been very pleasant in your comments/how you've carried yourself here on the forum (as well as other forums). Don't sweat it. BTW- I rarely look at the feedback forum. I was so surprised to see a "thumbs down" symbol by your name that I had to read this thread.

Thank you again to those who still have some faith in me.
I'm not perfect, I get myself into knife buying/selling trouble which ends up putting me into desperation circumstances such as this one here, where my last message to him was let me know and for convenience I put my paypal address in that message since his green light was on.
No money arrived so I did sell approx. 30-60 minutes later (I'll have to look up the specific time)...I sold to a buyer waiting in the wings at that later time.
Sure wish the OP would have said, he was busy and would pay at a certain time, since I did drop the price $50 for him, I thought I was being generous, but that certainly backfired on me.

This thread is now closed. It has run it's course.
